SUSTAINING IN BATTLE: BREAKING THROUGH THE STORMS

Description of Sustaining in Battle

Sustaining in Battle, Breaking Through the Storms volumes one and two (published in 2016, after an extensive study on physical war) primarily takes an in-depth look into Joseph Stalin’s life during World War II. Spending several years teaching on war and enemy territory, it became clear to McCall why so many Christians today live defeated. In this cold, dark world, it is not enough to go through the motions claiming to be a Christian. Christianity is not a formality where one sits on a pew week after week to go home and live like the world. Sustaining in Battle, Breaking Through the Storms focuses on the Christian battle and why the majority today perish from lack of knowledge, Hosea 4:6. This two-book series explores Ephesians 6:10-20, describing in detail the whole Armor of God and how it applies to the life of a true disciple of Jesus Christ.  During a long period where McCall taught on prayer, she was fortunate the Lord led a woman across her path who brought a book written by her father, who had served under Joseph Stalin, the enemy to Christianity. Yet, the Lord miraculously appeared to this man where eventually he moved to Louisiana and wrote an account of his walk through war on the side of the enemy before his encounter with Jesus Christ. The teachings within this series teach on natural war in a way that corresponds with the spiritual battles Christians face daily. This war continues to plague our world today—as Christians, are we prepared for this battle, or are we merely going through the motions?
